Free Bread:
Every Friday starting at 8:30 am, the ASYMCA provides free bread, pastries, etc. that is donated by Orowheat Bakery.
On average, 80+ military personnel and their families take advantage of this opportunity.
Free Bread Friday also provides an opportunity for the LINKS, New Parent Support, Boy Scouts of America, Copper Mountain College,
and other organizations aboard MCAGCC to get the word out about their programs by having representatives available to present their programs.
ASYMCA Thrift Store:
Located in Bldg 193. Low cost, donated clothing, house wares, books, electronic equipment, etc. is available Tuesday - Friday,from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and first Saturday of every month(donations accepted Monday only 9-12 am). Active duty military personnel can receive donated uniforms free just by showing their ID at the counter. Families with special needs receive items free of charge.
Community Referral Services:
The ASYMCA provides referral services to community services aboard MCAGCC and community services and nonprofit agencies in the surrounding communities of the Morongo Basin.
