½ Marathon in Palm Springs
On February 14th 2010 Palm Springs will be having a ½ marathon and they need active duty volunteers to help them run the event.  Volunteers will be need to meet at 4:00 AM at Bldg 192.  The volunteers will be needed from 5:30-10 AM at the marathon.  Food, beverages, and a t-shirt will be provided to the volunteers.  We will need 10-15 volunteers for this event.

Atria Hacienda Retirement Home Mardi Gras Event
We need 5-10 volunteers for this event.  Volunteers will need to meet at Bldg 192. Volunteers will be needed to go to Palm Springs to entertain the people who live at this facility.  Dress blues or Alphas are preferred to be worn for this event.  Food will be provided. More information will be coming.

Heart to Heart Luncheon
March 13th 2010 there will be the Heart to Heart Luncheon.  We are hoping for another successful event this year.  We will need 5 models and one active duty female model for this event.  More information will be provided the closer we come to the date.

Meet The Master

Meet the Master is an art program sponsored by the Armed Services YMCA and offered to children and adults who wish to expand their creativity, learn about famous artists and gain a better understanding of art.

Soap Box Derby 2009

Nearly 50 racers converged at the top of Cactus Drive and Hilltop Avenue in Twentynine Palms, California to compete in the Armed Services YMCA’s annual Soapbox Derby June 6. Many parents thought that this event was a good way to spent quality time with their children but, this event also can help promote good sportsmanship and raise the esteem of those children involved.
