Who do you serve?

MCAGCC Armed Services YMCA is mandated to only serve active duty personnel and their family members. If an individual has a military ID card showing they are either active duty or a family member of an active duty Service Member, we are able to provide assistance / support.

What type of recreational programs and facilities do you have?

Our agency is not your "neighborhood" Y - we do not have a pool, gymnasium or recreational activities to offer to the military community. MCAGCC ASYMCA is geared to provide programs and services to enhance the quality of life for active duty personnel and their family members.

Are you a 501(c)(3)?

Yes, our agency is nonprofit and we rely upon community support and fundraising events to facilitate the programs and services we offer.

Can you utilize volunteer support?

Absolutely - we are a small agency and could not accomplish our mission without surrounding community members, organizations, and businesses pitching in to help!

Can we donate clothing, food, or furniture to help serve your families?

We do take formal clothing for our Ball Gown Giveaway and some food items during special events, e.g., turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc. However, we do not have the space to store can goods and furniture.

Do you partner with community members, organizations and businesses to host one-time events for either fundraising opportunities or to serve military families?

YES! We welcome your input and creativity to expand and supplement the programs and services we presently have in place, and of course, funding is always needed to ensure the continuity of support we offer.
