Boy Scout Troop 78 A big Thank you to Boy Scouts Troop 78, for collecting over 270 canned items and 100 boxes of non perishable items. All of the collected items were put out for the families during our Thank You For Your Service. Read the Full Story
Thank You For Your Service Our Thank you For Your Service Program is in full swing and we are serving 150-200 families per week. We receive 500 pounds of assorted bread on Wednesdays and start distribution on Thursdays at 9:00am, until all bread is gone. Read the Full Story

History of the ASYMCA

The YMCA movement began in England in 1844; and was transplanted to this country in 1859 at Boston, Massachusetts. The real beginning of extensive service to the military did not begin until April, 1861 during the Civil War when YMCA members voluntarily provided helpful services to the soldiers on the battlefield.

About Us

The Armed Services Twentynine Palms was established locally in 1992 and is located on the Marine base in Twentynine Palms in Building 192 and Building 193 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that directly serves the active duty and their military families. Full Story

Communities Served

All service members and federal employees stationed aboard MCAGCC regardless of geographic residence may avail themselves of our services. The majority of our participants reside in the Morongo Basin including MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Morongo Valley. Full Story
